(Copied from the FISD and also showcased on the MEPD)

Hey everyone...
This is not a Stormtrooper but a Sandtrooper armor, but anyway wanted to share with you what I have done.

For the last 3 years I have been working on my armor, continously trying to upgrade and update it. Researching every source, book, picture and thread out there. Trying to gather as many as possible vintage or original parts like the ones used on ANH to put together the Sandtrooper armor and gear.

I had a vision of what I wanted to achieve, and at the end, the resulta are very similar to what I have though for the most, and in some cases, they went even beyond my imagination. Now I am waiting for one last part to get SWAT deployment over the MEPD, but even now I feel like my armor in this almost final stage is up to all the hard work, time and money I put on it.

So, I had my picture taken by a professional photographer in a pro studio to showcase my own '76 style Sandtrooper armor.

Armor is TE2 with many parts modified by myself to make it more ANH.
Most parts are either modified or improved to male them look closer to ANH, and all were aged, weathered and finished by me.

Hope you like it as much as I do.

Hi Juan i think you look pretty darn good Smile

I see youve spent a lot of time making this look perfect and a very good replica sandtrooper.

I still think the TE2 helmet is one of the best and the armour can take some tweaking to give it the right look. I hope you are very pleased with what you have done Smile

Hey Mark!
THX for your comments!
Yes, I am very pleased and proud with the results... all the years spent researching and working hard on this Sandtrooper did pay off!

I love my TE2!
I really do.

I have a few other buckets including a Gino and hopefully soon will get a TM, and still my TE2 will probably stay my fav helmet!

Thx for your reply.

Saludos.

Juan

You should find a sand dune and have some cool pictures taken there.

Thx guys!
Smile

I am thinking about the sand dunes, there is a region with some desert looking dunes but it is like 6 hour drive and then some off road driving too. Good reason to take my Jeep out. Maybe soon.

We'll see!!!

Did you leave the wrinkles in the helmet forehead above the brow?

Looks that way. Can be easily seen in the pictures, if you are talking about the mold damage.
